As the founder of the Unbridled brand and family of companies, I often get asked to tell our story. Some might think this would be easy, but it is a complex undertaking. I could tell the timeline, the problems we set out to solve, and how we cultivated our culture, but it is much more interesting than that. Our story is not linear or neat; it is messy at times because it is in our authenticity that we have become who we are. It is easy to tell how it happened for me, but the most inspiring stories come in understanding how “we” have gone on a journey together- the journey to discover what it means to be a people who fight to run free, who live with an awareness of doing good by doing well, and companies pursuing all that it means to be Unbridled.  

Telling our authentic brand story when we were just a handful of people, in one office space, doing a few things well was much easier than it is now. Now that we are a family of companies across diverse spaces, there are a lot more details to include. In my heart is the notion that we will “build hundreds of companies lasting hundreds of years,” and as such requires that the foundation of each business be solid, focused, and intentional. We have evolved so much as a brand, yet our foundations and cornerstones are at the heart of who we really are. To understand the Unbridled Way, you must understand our values because our values drive everything we do. Outside of our values, we are a people bridled.
